    Thanks for the reply. Is there any way to tell if the valve has failed by just looking at it? Is there anyway to test the valve?

    I have a JD 1530 when you start it the steering goes to the right and will not return. It is also pushing fluid out the top of the column. I have replaced the 6 orings in the steering houseing and that didn't help.Could I have got some bad orings? Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

    Portable sawmill band saw recommendations?

    I bought a Norwood LT29 a couple of years ago. Very satisfied with quality and ease of use. It is all manual but could be upgraded to hydraulic. Could also add wheel kit if you wanted to make it portable. Check their web site to see all the mills and options. Good mill for the price.

    Tractor has hydro-static power steering. I tried turning destroking screw with no results. I looked into rockshaft fill opening and could see fluid flowing on right side of housing. small amount when idleing larger amount when running faster. Is there something I could have missed when I had...

    Yes pump shaft is turning. Thinking maybe pump is weak or bad. If I can find fittings I am going to check standby pressure.

    front pump drive coupler is turning. Any other ideas? As far as advice or surprises just be careful when taking rockshaft assembly off it is very heavy. I didn't have any problems once I had it off.

    I just had the monitor on my 484 go out also. I sent mine to Ag Express for repair. Most repairs are done in 24 hours.I had mine repaired and back to baling hay in less than a week.
