    I bought a case 970 with a locked up engine, the guy I bought it from said he thought the hydraulic pump is locked up (he said it has done it before where it built up too much pressure and he would take the starter off and turn the engine backwards and release the pressure and then it would work...

    Super WDR-9

    We have at least 15 super/regular WD-9, W-9,600,&650 that my grampa and uncle used to farm with. So I have no shortage of parts! I want to get some of these going again and once I finish the case 701b I have in my shop, I think I will be starting on the super WD-9 with the hand clutch.

    Super WDR-9

    At my farm we have a tractor back in the trees, on the hood it says Super WDR-9 but the serial tag just says S WD 9, say nothing about being a WDR-9. I would assume it has the wrong hood but it has a hand clutch. If someone has had any idea it would be appreciated.

    This morning I checked the drain pan and there was about 10 more gallons and has completely stopped coming out, and the hydraulic reservoir is empty. The transmission is still over full. I didn't think the hydraulic could hold I that much oil but I guess it can. Any way where should I start for...

    It was over full before I started draining but 5 gallons came out the I just left the drain pan there and slowly over the couple of hours another 5 gallons came out.

    I just drained the hydraulic oil and so far 11 gallons of hytran/hydraulic oil have came out. Just curious if they are supposed to be separate, is it possible a seal someplace could be out and they could be mixing? Also found these in the hydraulic filter cover.
