Your Ferguson has a made in England Engine "Standard Engine".....thus the tractor ....."Model TEA-20."

The rear Rims are quite likely off a MF 35 Tractor.......24" Rims????

Any Ferguson TEA-20's in my neck of the woods has 28" ream Rims.

How did you verify this Tractor has a Hi /Low........?

In the second picture you can see the shift for the auxiliary transmission on the right side of the bell housing. I have a Sherman in my TO-30, its shifter is on the left side, this is another brand, maybe Howard?. It was added either by the dealer who sold the tractor or some previous owner. A nice addition, it gives the operator lots of speed options from very slow to very fast. Downside is it changes the PTO speed in the same ratio as ground speed so it doesn't help with operations like tilling.

Yes it is lol. It has a Sherman lever,I believe. It makes a difference with speed. Nice in the woods.

Not a Sherman. There were a number of manufacturers of auxiliary transmissions for Ferguson and Ford tractors of that era. Sherman was the most popular in the US, but Howard, A&I, and others also manufactured specialty units of various sorts. Post the picture with the shifter in the '8N Ford forum' here and someone will tell you what brand it is.

That engine is "NOT" the engine in a TE20.....

That engine ( "Standard) is in a TEA-20, manufactured in Coventry England.........And yest the TEA-20 has an external Oil filter housing..

Because,it has. It has two settings . Down is a lower gear. You can tell when using it

TO30 rebuild up-date...
Determined where the hyd. leak is... Where cyl. mounts to top cover, some genius put the oring & the gasket in there. That is not a good way.
Also I went to my local Ford/Ferg salvage yard 2day. Guy there told me that the lever shown in att. image is for Hupp over/under. Says that when you pull the shaft OUT it shifts into creeper. I cannot get that to happen. He gave a copy of a data sheet for the Hupp that swows where 2 diff. models were available. The D59 & D-59-2. The 59 has .528 underdrive & the 59-2 has .7 under. Is there more info available on this...

Thanks. I dont think mine is working. When it dow,n it dosnt seem to go much slower still too fast for the woods. I pull out abd down.

I just realized today,after fiddling around with the shifter on my tea 20,on the right by my feet,that may have a Huff hi low.
I can pull it out to the side,and down,and I get a very slow crawl speed. You can walk along side it.if you just pull down your dont get a real low speed. Im happy! never knew I had this option on this shifter.
Im assuming it's a Huff?

I believe you are correct. Had one my self in my TEA 20. If you pull it out and up it will increase you traveling speed. Enjoyed mine until it cracked and had to have it removed.

Yes and pull down gives you a.crawl. hiw did yours crack?

Not sure, just driving one day and noticed oil leaking from center of tractor. Stopped and had it taken to my favorite tractor mechanic and he removed the Hupp unit. I am back to the original machine now. I never used the Hupp as mostly my use is snow removal with a snow blower and for hauling our firewood out of the woods

that sucks! I like the crawl....its way too fast for me in the woods without it ,My dad had a 9 n i believe,his shifter was on the side also,and would jusst creep in the woods.Thats why i bought this tractor.I already have a internation deisel,,but i like this little bugger,just to have the memories.lol
