Skid steer adapter on ih 574

Hi. Whats the process to mount a skid steer quick attach to my 2500 series loader on a ih 574.? Any help is appreciated
Buy one or make one , remove bucket and attach the quick tach. ur MN will probably be along with more specific details. I don’t know if anybody makes one for a 2500 , they do for a 2250, might be the same , would have to do some measuring

Thanks. I am looking at options now. Checking with a company that makes one for the 2250 to see if they know. Thanks again

Yesterday you posted you had a poorly fitted quick attach on your loader. Today you want to add one. Yesterday it sounded like the one that is on it needs the pins up sized to fit the loader. Post some pictures and explain a bit more what is going on.

First check and see if you can buy one ready made. If not then you’ll likely have to buy a blank and either make yourself or have made (depending on your ability) some mounts to your loader arms and cylinders.

It is best if you keep one issue in one thread, so people have all the info available that you have posted on it to date. The guys can help but need all the info to give the best help and advice.

Do you have the skills, tools, and equipment to do a reasonable amount of reasonably heavy fabrication. I ask as your first post read like the adapter you have might be fixed, but you didn't seem to be looking at doing that.

Your first thread about this made on Tuesday.

Series 2500 loader bucket

Hi sorry still figuring this out. The issue is the bucket is too large and hvy and there is slop in the cyl rod end pins I was hoping to find a pin on smaller bucket and get rid of this hvy quick attach but that looks like a long shot so wondered about using skid steer components. I am attaching photos to show what i am working with. I dont have a welder but have someone who can.

Looks like you could just buy a blank skid steer adaptor from Titan and have your existing brackets welded to it after a little clean up. Then buy your choice of skid steer buckets. You can weld a skid steer plate to your existing bucket for times when you need the wide bucket.

^^^^this now that we see it. As far as cylinder end slop, you could get bushings put in them and new pins if needed. Bucket is too big

I think the bucket size is deceiving due to the spill plate that has been added to it.

There are loader side adapters on eBay for much less than Titan's. You just need to add what you want to ears for those as well.

Your IH 2500 loader boom and bucket setup appears to be the same as my brother's IH 2250 loader, the only difference is the 2250 has the Mount-O-Matic frame and the optional the Quick Attach bucket attachment, see photos below.

Examining your photos, it would appear that your loader has some version of a bucket Quick Attach attachment.
The Skid Steer Quick Attach option has become more of a standard over time.

Here is a link to Skid Steer attachment for Case IH 2250/2255 loaders: I have no affiliation to the following website.

You may be right about the bucket , but I say it’s a foot too wide. The front rims have been turned so the tires stick out farther and that makes the bucket look not as wide. If he loads that bucket he will be repairing and replacing axle knees and spindles in the future
