Ground up Blacktop

What are 21AA gravel and #6 limestone? I have hauled a lot of dirt and no one has ever used any names like those.
21AA is road gravel, 1-1/2” down to fines, packs well and strong, used to build road bed and driveways. #6 is clean stone 3/4”-1/2” that allows drainage, or in out application, helps fill the holes and stiffens the road bed as it gets pushed down into the fines. Limestone is sharp and locks together better than the glacial gravel which is round, but is dusty when dry. Broken concrete is a common shed base, but the road commission does not use it - a lot of brick, asphalt, and metal can be mixed in it,.

OK, your 21AA is what we would call inch and a half crusher run, And #6 would be our 3/4 stone. Our 3/4 stone is through the crusher but no fines included. For a little more money you can get it washed.
