Been having trouble with the starter on my 5610 II. Nothing when I turned the key. Took starter and solenoid to starter/alternator shop for a check. Owner said it was working fine. Told him what that tractor was doing and he said check the neutral safety switch. Bypassed the NSW and the tractor...

    5610 Ford steering box

This steering box has had a nagging leak for years. About 3 days ago I put a bottle of Lucas Power steering stop leak in it. Very limited usage since adding the Lucas. Yesterday evening when the steering wheel was turned to the limit, I noticed a sticking but not too bad. Had a load on the FEL...

    5610 power steering pump part

Looking for a flange on the front of a power Steering pump for a 5610 tractor. Part number is EONN3C535AA. Part number 7 on some parts diagrams or part number 9 on other diagram. The flange contains the 2 shaft seals. Hope the 2 different part numbers is not confusing.

5610 series II - electrical problem

Today I was installing a new light switch. Connected the wires to the tabs and the hot tab contacted the edge of the sheet metal causing a spark and smoke. Now I have no electrical at all. Not even a click at the starter. Located a fuse panel just behind the battery. One fuse looked a little odd...

    Hay conveyor

Can anyone give me some information on this hay conveyor. I know it attaches to the left side of a trailer and picks up the bales, lifts them up and the bale falls onto the trailer. This one works very well. We used it yesterday. The man I bought it from didn't know brand/manufacturer or any...

I recently got my dad's cub. It has a lot of attachments. I do not know what these 2 pieces are for. I think the larger piece fits under the belly of the tractor. May be part for the planting operation. The smaller piece, I haven't got a clue.

I have a farmall cub from my parents estate. It has no battery, and what I need to know is, how to determine if it is a 6v or 12 volt system? There is a 6v coil. Noticed that when we were unloading it. That is all of the info that I know as of now. Will be taking a look later today. Don't know...

I have a 5610 with manual transmission. Stuck clutch and the main gear selector is stuck in 4/8th gear. The hi/lo range selector works fine. Jacked up rear end and rocked rear tires. Did not help. Guess I need to remove the top of the transmission to see what is going on. Are there any...

    5610 II power steering cylinder

The power steering cylinder seal is leaking around the rod. The rod end of the cylinder has a welded end cap. The other end looks to have a removable cap with 4 holes spaced at 90 degrees. Holes are probably for a wrench used to unscrew the end cap. Can the seal be replaced from the removable...

5610 Ford Diesel. This morning I tried to start the 5610. Battery was weak and would just roll engine over slowly. Turned key off and starter stayed engaged as if the key was still on. Got wrench and pulled negative cable off battery. Put new ignition switch on and still had same problem. If...

    5610 II or 5610S

Is this tractor a 5610 II or is it a 5610S? I think the 5610 II has Ford engine and 5610S has New Holland engine. This looks to be a Ford engine. As near as I can tell this engine looks like the engine on my 5610.
