    Charging issue on my 641

    This 641 is a six volt system, positive ground, the problem is: it doesn't seem to be charging, needle stays at zero. Turn the lights on and it jumps in the positive area. Had been operating normally up until about a month ago. Any ideas?

    641 radiator

    I need a new radiator for my 641, basically a work tractor. Anyone used the ones available from this site? Is the more expensive one a better unit? Not looking to save a buck, I want a good radiator. Should they be pressure tested before installing? Any advice appreciated.

    Rearend oil for 601

    The three point hitch quit working on my 601, erratic for a while, then quit altogether. I did see some milky looking oil on the dipstick so I want to start with changing the oil. Is automatic transmission oil a good bet? Would filling with mineral spirits and draining be a good idea? Thanks

    I have a 641 Ford (told that when I bought it, haven't verified per the serial numbers), anyway, looking at a three point hitch finish mower, 72" cut. Seems as though I heard or saw a post saying the pto on these tractors do not have a high enough rpm to effectively run these units. True or...

    420 John Deere

    Going to look at a 420 John Deere crawler with a winch. Owner did mention no second gear. Asking price is 5000.00. It's has sat for 4-5 years but he did get it running yesterday. I would welcome any comments or suggestions about this machine. Thanks
