    Ford 655 not charging until revved up.

    I have a new alternator on my Ford and I noticed the alternator will not start charging unless I rev it really high after that it will charge at low idle. Tachometer also will not work unless I rev it high but once I rev it all is good even at idle. What could possibly be the issue here?

    Ford 655d 268 crankshaft locking up.

    I've taking this block and had sleeves put in they checked the line bore said it was good polished the crank but when I go to Tighten number three with the thrust bearing it locks down with no end play. I'm guessing I've got a bad set of bearings it is standard. Anybody know what's going on?
