    disk axles

    I bought a Linebaugh disk with 18 inch scalloped disks. The disks are in good shape. I need to replace the bearings. The disk has round axles 1 1/8 inches. The disks spacers and bearing cups have square holes. Should I use the round axle or try the square axle. I appreciate your advice and help.

    Helpful fellows

    801 electrical system

    My 801 has 6 volt solenoid. The starter switch by the gear shift only works with one connection on 6 volt solenoid. Tried solenoid with two connections and it does not work. Will the NAPPA IC14SB coil WORK WITH 6 VOLT SOSOLENOID. Thanks for previous reply.

    ford 801

    I wired my ford 801 with new wire harness. Wire from coil positive to resistor and resistor to amp guage the tractor will not start but if alligator clips are put on each side of resistor it starts perfectly. What am I doing wrong? 12 volt conversion.

    oil for ford 801 gas

    I was reading a forum about changing oil where they used 10 W 30. The mechanic that is helping me said to use 15 W 40. Before I buy the oil I would like to hear from someone from this forum. I am concerned about oil pressure and line to oil pressure guage. I will be looking for your advice.

    THANKS! Part is not a freeze plug. It looks like a small plug or something that has been broken off. Picture in ford tractor master parts catalog that looks like radiator drain plug with no identification or part name.
