    ride on mower not sucking fuel from the carb

    Hey I've got an bernard ride on mower lawnmower and it won't start . it's not sucking the fuel from the carb but it hasn't got a eletric pump or solenoid . Ihave have cleaned the carb and sealed the gaskets , Any ideas ? it will start if i put fuel directly into the engine but i have checked...
