    gear selector JD 3010

    what is the sequence to adjust the turnbuckles on the gear selector that is on the dash. put new gears into this JD 3010 and now it shifts real hard trying to adjust the turnbuckles but it's not working out to good. any helpfull information would be appreciated

    things have changed

    same here the boys used to be up at 6 or so.Now mom and i have been up since 6 and still waiting for the 18 year old to wake up.The other a 22 year old moved out and should be here in 1 hour to open presents.But at least they are still here for christmas.

    3010 gear problems

    the 3010 has the shifter on the dash.All gears worked well but now gear #5 and 7 and another one don't work.Tried to adjust the connecting rods from shifter to gearbox but didn't help hope that it's not in the gear box any advice would be appreciated

    brazing aluminum

    got some aluminum brazing rods.use acetylene torches around the 5 lb setting but I"m unable to fuse two pieces of aluminum together.The aluminum just melts away and the brazing rod material just lay"s on top of it. What am I doing wrong?
