    Piston and Sleeve Kit

Thanks Dell, Of coarse there is low compression, another reason I did not bother to check it. I did not realize the bore of the actual block could be different, but it does make perfect sense that it could be, given the age of the motors. And yes I will Mic. things along the way and...

    Piston and Sleeve Kit

Hey guys, I pulled the head off my 9N last fall to have a looksy. The motor smokes very little, but has alot of blow-by. Spitting oil out of the filler tube and dip stick sleeve. During inspection I found the cylinder walls were smooth but you could slip a dime between the piston and walls...

    Rebuild time??

I have been reading some of the other posts and topics of various nature. Found several suggestions to honing cylinder walls and such. I have a 41 9N. She has a little blow by, so I pulled the head to investigate. Found cylinder walls in the most horrible state. Never seen anything like it...

OT - Surprise attach by bald face hornets

Walston, I am extremely allergic to all the below mentioned, including yellow jackets. Ran into a yellow jacket nest the other day. I doing some research, found that Kerosene and diesel fuels are far more enviromentally friendly than gas. The nest should also be hit at night, not during the heat...

Had similar problem - would not start - Found that the rotor would push too far on the shaft. I pulled cap back off and backed the rotor out a little - works just fine now

    (HOT) seat time

Like T-Man says - Hope I am still working like that at 68. Unfortunatly I am one of those few young men??(38) that believes in hard work. My wife never wants to leave me at the house alone thinking I will fall out working myself to death. I guess I feel I have to make up for the lack of...

    CountyLine Vs King Kutter

Have u tried AgriSupply instead of TSC? Just curious. The TSC here in NC are very small and expensive. While AgriSupply is 8 to 10 times the size with prices from 30 to 50 percent cheaper. Even on big brand name items.

    Spring tooth harrow plan..

Is it a single row 6 tooth spring. If so you can buy them in good condition for that price. If you want it you will have a hard time drilling the hole for the replacement points. Those springs are HARD!!

    Question- not my 9N

Have not heard anything either way on the Kioti, everyone around here uses Kabota. I know they will hold up. I would get 4 wheel drive, if they have one for the model (size) you are looking. Well worth the money for the diff. in price.
