Spent the last couple of days at my hunting camp doing some very necessary maintenance and man was it hot! Bout a hundred which ain't bad when you're inside in the AC, but when your out in it on a 48 8N for several hours mowing three foot high grass (weeds) and forget to drink anything, it's pretty miserable. Add in the even hotter breeze from the radiator and the fact that I'm old (68) as well as dumb and you get the picture. Then next day it's even hotter but at least I'm mostly in the shade cause I'm gradin' bout a half mile of gravel driveway which is really a lane that's been there for over a hundred years and has lots of trees alongside. The Ford hadn't been started for about three months (hence the much need part of the maintenance) but when the third piston came up on compression it fired and ran strong for both days. Riding the old boy sort of makes up for having to do all the work. Now if I could only figure out a way not to complain and whine about my own laziness!!!
