Is there a o-ring type lift piston for a 65?

Been working on my 65 Massey Ferguson. Was wondering is there a lift piston available for this tractor that has an oring on the lift piston instead of the three steel rings? Have found several other models that have new style pistons available but not a 65.

The best way as it was stated earlier is to police the MPH and that in turn will limit the RPM and to a degree keep the playing feild level. Most (obviously not all) but most puller who have the money in the big motors did so to go fast so mph keeps everyone will they belong. However, if you...

If you read the fair book, the pure stock class is running close to division II with the exception of 15.5 x 38 tires are legal down to 4500 lbs class. No cuts allowed in pure stock. As far as the speed limits I know that last year, pure stock was 3 mph and hot stock was 5 mph. Whether that...

    farmall M

I am no Farmall expert, so take this with a grain of salt, but I was told that the standard M motor without the sleeve will accept a piston from a 656. Can anyone verify that claim?

    M or 560

Not sure where you plan to pull, but keep in mind in most clubs a 560 can not pull due to production era. So in that case i would build the M so you could pull anitque, open, farm stock, whatever

I dont mean to knock this idea, in fact I have wondered the same thing, so then me question is the cost of offset grinding worth the 1/2" or so of stroke you gain? Or is there a more cost effective way to gain HP? Believe me I know that in pulling and motor building nothing comes cheap, just...

If you have the time, taking an old spark plug knock out the ceramic and tread the base to accept an air fitting. Then with an inline pressure gauge, to make sure you dont do more harm than good, I used compressed air to help break her free. Works pretty good, if you do the mass its area =...
