    Disabling hydraulics on Massey Harris 44

    I figured customizing a cover to fit the pump hole would be difficult (would have to be beveled to avoid the inner gear), but I could look into it. Would a small hydraulic tube loop from input to output do the trick?

    I am restoring a MH 44 and am considering leaving off the hydraulic hoses/levers for a prettier look (not a work or show tractor). Can I just seal off the pump outflow/inflow at the front of the tractor (retaining the ability to reconnect at a future date) or is that going to create problems?
