    MF 180 narrow front end

    it is a very easy switch. I did it to my tractor, there are about 8 bolts to take off, then the pedestal to the narrow front just bolts right up. I did it by myself in less than an hour.

    OK, I'm looking for suggestions on what to do to a perkins 236 diesel engine to get the most hp for pulling. Any suggestions on pump work or alternate pumps would be great. Also, any ideas on potential head work? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    The secret to percentage pulls is to load the engine. If your spinning out easily, go up a gear and throttle back as much as you can while still moving the sled. In my experiences, lighter tractors have a huge advantage since they have to pull much less to achieve a higher percentage...
