    I have owned a New Holland TC35D with loader and shuttle tranny for 8 years 900+ hrs Only breakdown or problem I have had with it was the safety switch under the seat broke. If I ever buy another new one, it will be a NH.

    Last fall here in Central Nebraska, H took my 10X28 tire to the local CO OP They charged me $39 plus tax for the Tube and installed it with no labor. Guess I got lucky for a change.

    PTO seal

    I appreciate your input, but I just don't feel the need tu spend money on something I don't need. I have a New Holland TC35 and use it for everything that needs a PTO. The 2 n is just for pulling the cultivator thru the sweet corn. Dont want to adjust the wheel spacing on the tc35.

    Yes its an eazy job to R&R PTO assembly. But like I said my shaft is worn and needs replaced. I donn't replace everything that is wrong with the 2n I have a 2 n for everyday usage, It's not a show tractor, like I said I don't ever use or need the pto WHY REPLACE IT>

    The open side goes to the oil. My 2n has a shaft that is so worn that it still leaked. I don;t use the pto, so I put some teflon tape on the pto cover and it doesn't leak anymore.

    Tip in re attaching engine to transmission.

    When getting ready to reattach the engine to the transmission, I cut the heads of of a couple of 4 inch bolts and screw them into the engine for use as guide pins, to the tranny. Saves a lot of work trying to align things especially if working alone. I know many of you probalby allready know...

    The holes measure 3/16th. They are down abut 5/8-3/4 from the top of the casting. Looking closer, it appears they just drilled and didn';t measure. I tried to post a picture, but cannot figure out how to import it.
