    Now that I look at the picture i can still slightly see where the gear sat, there is zero lip, feels very smooth, but there is a shadow if that makes sense, you can see it slightly but not feel it.

    Finally got to the cover today, sanded fairly easily. Huge difference, i,dont have a great straight edge, im using a 6 inch Square, does the cover have too be 100% flat? I can see a little light but I can see an equal amount on tge housing when I check that...my guess is 2 gaskets...

    M'fine is a super 'frame, engine, hydraulics, rear end, with An A hood, front grill radiator, and gas tank all custom lol. I think a tree fell on it and they had an A in the hedge row to make it work, I call it the frankenfarmall hahaha

    Gene, would the cover plate warping cause the gear to,grind into the cover like that or are you thinking the bearing or bushing might be shot? The 2 gears seem to be even with a straight edge, of I tip it up the loose gear wanta to fall,out so I checkwd it upside down. I appreciate your help.

    $180 for a new one if i can find it, I'll see if my machine shop can machine it flat and I guess I'll look into the bearing cause something made that gear grind itself into the cover. I guess if all else fails ill hiy ebay or some salvage yards for a different pump. Thanks

    Heres the thing, i can't find any new ones, caseih is out of stock, bates too. Im thinking ebay and replace the entire pump since no one is selling just the cover.

    Hey fellas, i pulled the oil pump cause I didnt have good oil pressure, right on the line between red and white on the gauge. The gasket is certainly missing in spots and the gears have worn into the cover quite a bit on one side and slightly on the other...what do you suggest? It seams lije a...

    I removed the fan to work on the govenor easier and the oil drained out of the hub, how much should go back in and I assume it's just engine oil? 10w30 would work? Thanks

    Napa was closed and the other wannabe auto parts stores didn't have anything that size other than flex pipe and I didn't want that. The kid actually looked at me like I had 2 heads when I asked for 2" id, just not real common on vehicles today, idk...

    Anyone know where to get 12 inches of 2" I.D. radiator hose? All I can find is 3' lengths and I only need 6 inches for the tractor. All the pre cut pieces are 2.5" long and they barely have enough room for the clamps to seat properly in my opinion. Thanks, anthony

    Fan belt size

    The water pump belts are 34.25 or slightly larger than that from what I found. Without water pump is 32.25 and mine was 33.5 so I bought the one that was 33 3/8 figuring that's the original size of mine before stretching and I have still have plenty of adjustment in the slot.
