    injection pump problems.

I was hopping that someone that works on then would have given me a clue as to what to look for. I have been through this pump some 6-? times, trying things people have told me it was, that's why I'm been in it first place, which proved to totally wrong. It was a motor problem. Which is a...

    injection pump problems.

It's been quit some time since I've been on here. I have a '63 4000, Diesel, SOS I have totally torn down my injector pump, and rebuilt it. Then it sat for a couple years on the tractor. I went to bleed the air out of the system. I would get a real hard spry out of #4 (back) cylinder, and...

    Hard job.

I don't remember if I posted that I had brought my yellow tractor home and have been working on it. I put it together 6 or 7 years ago then had to bring it up to our property and leave it. Lot of things I never finished then so I'm doing them now. One thing then was the right side king pin...

    What's this manual for?

I snagged this section of a service manual off ebay for my Case 188D engine entitled BURL. FORM 9-70451 Section III - Diesel Engine. 6-61-1000 Printed in U.S.A. It's not for my machine as I see RPMs are different. Does anyone know which machine it's for?

If you look at the second picture you'll see a bearing surface towards the front, that is a larger diameter then what the bearing shaft surface is. Pat

    PTO help needed

So you are saying this is correct pto shaft for my tractor with the sleeve welded on? How would you change the bearing? I need to find another one, because the splines are worn pretty bad. I could weld them, and then grind them to back shape again. But I'd rather just find a replacement...

    Injector pump questions

I didn't know crap about my injector pump. I pulled it apart to find my problem, and I asked everyone I could about it.No one could answer my problem. I kept working on it. Turns out to be a cam problem. All you need to do, is pull the shaft out of the pump. It should just pull by hand, some...
