    Ford 821 where to find a C clip trans input shaft bearing

    I dont want to try using the C clip that I took off the trans input shaft that holds the bearing on...the trans is a 4 speed and no hi/low and also has any one ever pressed a new bearing on without heat/cold ?

    Thanks..but this looks like a 8n ,9n ectt trans.......I think the 4 speed I have in the 600, 800 900 ect...is a different...style?

    So as long as I have the input shaft out and replacing the seal for the shaft , the bearing is also worn too much to not replace it...So Im looking at the bearing housing and to me I see a groove that would match up after I would press the new bearing in....but I dont see a snap ring on here...

    Ford 821.... Found this laying in bellhousing ?

    So I was replacing the clutch input shaft seal as it had alot of oil laying under the shaft inside the bell housing ...and I pulled out the flange and shaft and the seal was very old and junk...I dont understand why as when I pulled the shaft out there was orange permatex there as a gasket...

    Anyone have the Ford Parts site ...I was using a few years ago

    well for what In need is to see diagrams as I am still really trying to identify what both motors are ? they are both 3.90 bore ...and I did notice they have different oil pump design....and also different size pushrods, one is 1/4 in and other 5/16 on...and the lifters are different thickness...

    does a 134 , 172 ,192 motor use same camshaft, crank and ect? as far as swapping parts

    The Ford has too many changes and with the industrial models it gets too confusing what will and wont work,,,and so all the old guys are gone...Im just going to put it together with the parts that look like it will work...whatever happens ...happens ....went to the dealer today ..they dont...

    So which motor has the 1/4 inch bolts and which one has the 5/16 fasteners? ..Mine is a Vickers..cant seem to get it apart so Im saoking ot..I think its a vane pump....not a geared pump?

    I am trying to use a 172 motor I just picked up for parts to fix my other 172 motor...I have run into an Issue with pushrods...I need to use the parts from both to get a complete working motor..I need to use a tappet from one and as you can see the thinkness of the part that runs on the lobe is...

    well I bought a Gas 821b/loader .....I seen it sitting in the weeds and asked the owner,,,he said he bought it at auction...soon after it had a noise...So his son was trying to fix it and he said it had a bad lifter....so then then he did not want to fix it as it was a big job...So I came along...

    I tried getting that ring out ..but its very hard ..ring...and its not built like a snap rings with little holes to putthe plier ends in Behind that should be a Splined crankshaft end? just like the other ? i am used to taking clyinders apart...somethig just doesnt add up...Im used to...

    trying to remove front timing chain cover from 2 172 motors... ,The first one it was easy..just remove a large fine threaded bolt and washer ..and then the cover comes off.......no problem...the other motor I just bought to use for parts is a different arrangement? I can not figure out...
