1610D-3 pt hitch drop control screw broke off on Hyd control valve

3 point hitch was dropping too fast, so tried to adjust drop control on side of control valve. It was frozen and after a week of soaking daily in Kroil and attempting to work it loose, it broke off. Is there a fix out there such as drilling and tapping a new one or must I buy a new control...

    Brakes

<QUOTE author="alan"><s> /e></QUOTE> I keep seeing posts that say to remove the wheels to repair the brakes. I have had the covers off of my 1610D brakes for inspection and don not see what would prevent easy replacement with the wheels on. Since my wheels are all loaded, this would seem to...

    Fuel delivery

Questions, questions, questions. "When I rev the motor, it barely can get to 2000 rpm and struggles at 2500." Is this with the tiller engaging the ground? Are you running the tiller in the 540rpm pto setting? What size tiller is this? What brass washer and spring? What does the tractor do...

    ROPs Remnant?

Just posted this on TractorsbyNet but thought I would cover more bases. Is the green ROPs looking structure in the pic the lower part of a factory ROPS system or just for a factory sunshade? Scuse the blur.

How to know T-Start is working.

I'm guessing my 1610D doesn't have a TS light. At least if it does, it's burned out. I don't really see a place for it.

How to know T-Start is working.

I checked the plug with the touch method and it was getting warm. Hit the starter and it started immediately. I think maybe it just hadn't been used in a long time and needed to be messed with.

How to know T-Start is working.

Thanks, Winston. I'll try the "warm to the touch" indication this afternoon. My 1610D doesn't have an indicator light for the TS. I'm just wondering if the gauges and dash lights should remain on in the far left "TS" key position instead of going out just as the key hits the left stop. That...

How to know T-Start is working.

Just cranked my "YanMartha" for the first time in cold temp, 35 degrees F. When I put the key to TS position, dash lights and meters come on until just before full left position of the switch. At full left everything goes back to "off". How am I supposed to know the TS is working? The engine...

    Bought RS1200-PTO shaft too long.

Once I figured it out, it was easy. I had a Torx driver the right size. The roll pin came out easily. I then hooked up the "new" tiller went off in the dark and tilled about 10 feet of ground. This thing works great, is very quiet and smooth running. It leaves the ground nice and fluffy and...

PTO lever moves with differential lock

Update: Man, this thing drives a lot better when the diff lock isn't welded to the PTO lever. It was a real pain, but I got it off, cleaned everything and greased it. Works great now. If anyone ever needs to remove this lever, you will have to remove the tin that the lever goes through...
