    Need help finding old post

I'm trying to find an old post by Ohio 88 about adding electric power steering to his tractor. Posted around December 2021. I tried the search box, put in super 88 electric power steering and Ohio88 in member box and it comes up nothing found. How do I find it?? Thanks, Chris

    1550 Power Beyond

Are you the guy who added electric power steering on a 88?

    1550 Power Beyond

Figured it out today. Lift arms were down so I started it and they raised but wouldn’t lower until I pushed the outside lever on the tractor. I switched the 2 return hoses on the valve and now it works like it should. Simple when you figure it out.

    1550 Power Beyond

Finally got power beyond hooked up and working but having 3pt issues. It took a couple of minutes to get hydraulics after starting, loader worked okay but 3 point wouldn’t raise. I topped off reservoir and lift arms finally came up but won’t drop when I push the lever ahead. They usually settle...

    Hydraulic couplers

I need 4 couple under pressure couplers for my Oliver 1550 loader. Will these work? I’ve never been around this type before. Thanks, Chris

Odd paddles on the rear wheels.

For operating in muddy conditions, supposed to be easier/quicker than mounting chains.

    1550 brakes

Yeah, they are proud of them! If I remember right, the parts guy told m to sit down when I asked the price.

    1550 brakes

Probably a good idea. I used one years ago, don't even remember what it was on but it worked great. Have a couple of leaks on my 1550 that need speedi sleeves, just don't have the ambition to do it anymore.

    super88 hydraulics

I posted earlier about mounting a Woods L306 belly mower on my super 88. I got it on and it was set up with a short one way cylinder. The right side was set up for 2 way so I tried to use the left side for the one way, I was told to add a hose from the return line if it was set up for 2 way to...

    Woods belly mount mower

I'm putting a belly mower on my super88. It looks like the drawbar assembly will interfere with the drive belt and needs to come off. Is this correct? Pictures of mounting brackets would help. I went to Woods website but couldn't find any info on the belly mowers. Thanks, Chris

    1550 and loader

I switched the hoses from side to side today. Inside lever works the loader, outside works the bucket. Inside lever, loader lifts and lowers without moving the bucket. Outside lever, bucket rolls back with no loader movement. When bucket curls forward there is slight lift on the loader frame but...

    1550 and loader

I'll see if there is enough hose to switch them.

    1550 and loader

I finally got the loader on the 1550 and kinda working. When I first got it on everything seemed to work as it should using the tractor remotes, outside lever raises the loader and inside lever curls the bucket. Now whenever I raise or lower the loader the bucket curls at the same time using the...

Woods belly mower on a super88

I picked up a Woods L306 belly mower to put on my super88 so I have an excuse to run it. It has a short 1 way cylinder to raise and lower it. Operators manual say I need a momentary restrictor to use a 1 way cylinder(painted yellow). Any ideas where I can find one or is there a way to plumb...

    John Deere X300 no compression

Dug deeper today, not so good. It seems that the tappets on #2 cylinder aren't moving. The intake push rod extends out at least an inch farther than it should and doesn't move when turning the crankshaft. Guess I'll be tearing it apart to see what is going on, probably wait until summer when...

    John Deere X300 no compression

Tried to post 2 times with my phone with pictures but it wouldn't allow pictures so I'll try to post them later and see if it works. It got up to a balmy 29° this afternoon so I worked on it some. Both intake push rods were bent. I straightened 1 and put that side back together and set the...
