    used a 37 for many years. its a simple baler thats easy to work on. could never get mine to make a very tight bale. sold mine in good working order for $400. and bought a NH273 for $1000. would never go back. I would look for a NH model in your price range.

    Briar creek, I think you have it mixed up, 7200 is thicker then 9000. correctly baled hay- meaning it was baled at the proper moisture content as to not dust, mold or burn your barn down.

    hay can be baled after its been hit by frost. just be sure it is dry when you bale it. the only problem is at this time of year, drying time is very linmited because of dew and cooler temps, the horses won"t mind as long as its baled correctly.
