4000 weak spark
Thanks for the help finally figured it out one of the new condenser is I bought from tractor supply failed out of the box it was bad dug around in my junk found an old one now everything runs great no more parts from tractor supply -

OK so I found and repaired a ground short on the side of the distributor got the tractor running again but it still missing badly firing about every third time pop pop pop pop pop pop -

Ok so now I have no spark at all have power going into coil but none at the distributor ,coil resistance is about 2.8 ohms but no power out to distributor -

All parts came from TSC I have heard about new bad parts from TSC anyone have that problem -

Ok here' we go my 61 4000 all of a sudden started to miss badly last time it did this I replaced the points and reset the gap however this time I did that with no improvement also replaced condenser, distributor cap, coil and spark plugs any ideas? -

Can someone tell me what the large resistor in the Power supply wire to the coil is for on my ford 4000 tractor -

Injector pump stops working after five minutes
Ok tried to start tractor today won't start at all no fuel to injectors loosen screw on side of pump plenty of fuel there still won't start kinda lost I've got good mechanical skills but almost no knowledge of deisel mechanics -

I have a Ford 801 diesel that seems to have an intermittent injector pump I will lose fuel pressure after about five minutes of run time and then it might take 30 or 40 minutes to start the tractor back up any one have any advice on what could cause an intermittent pump I have change the filter... -

My Dad and I recently pulled Paw Paw's old M out of the old barn. It was used hard and put up wet. We cleaned her up a little and got her running.
