Can someone tell me how much my tractor might weigh its a 1961 4000 mod 4030 there is some water in the tires but i dont know how much

since you don't know how much is in the tires, the only way to determine actual weight would be to drive it to a public scale, like a grain elevator, and weigh it. The basic tractor probably weighs about 4000 pounds.

My Ford Manual for a 1965 Ford 4000 shows 4375 without options. The scale is still the only way to tell what you have. Additional weight per tire could be up to 694 pounds depending on size and amount of fill.

About 3200 pounds for the gas tractor, 3300 for the diesel. Add 150 pound for the 3pt (if you have it). Add 75 pounds for a sherman transmission. Add about 50 pounds for an SOS. 14.9x24's with CaCl2 are about 1200# and 16.9x24's would be about 1600# filled. The front end loader, frame and bucket are about 1500#
