    Deere 3010D, what's it worth?

    NAA rear end lube

    Got the FO-19 manual and am reassembling the ring and pinion. The manual states 8 qts of lube. There are two compartments there. Is that 8 qts in each or total? I got nearly 5 gal out when dis assembling. Will the universal lube work? Thanks.

    F560 steering sloppy

    The movement is nice and tight from the wheel all the way to where the shaft enters what I am guessing is the worm gear housing. This rig has power steering. Is the slop likely in the worm gear mechanism? Has anyone been inside one and can shed light on what is probably going on?

    Massey Harris 30 No poewr

    From what I can recall on the shift pattern... forward-left is 1st, forward right is reverse, back-left is 3rd. These are about the only three I use. The throw is quite a bit - maybe 3"? There is also a 'fast' gear, which is straight back - a bit hard to find, and the throw is only about 1"...

    Ignition problem on my Massey

    If anyone is still watching this post - I finally solved the problem. All of the ignition parts are new - including the Champion plugs - still didn"t start. So, someone suggested I try AC Delco plugs. Changed the plugs and in -9C weather the tractor fired up and ran well. I have a hard time...

    Still no resolution on this problem. I have even taken the inspection cover off the right side of the engine to look at the valve springs - they all seem to be moving correctly. Good thing the Ford runs - would have a heck of a time clearing 250' of snow with a shovel!

    I took the coil and wires from my Ford (which runs well) so I am (fairly) sure they are fine, but you never know.

    haha I have an answer for everything.... #1 sparkplug is wet and oily - #4 is dry & fluffy. Firing order is correct - I am very careful with that, 1342. Compression is 100-110 on all four cylinders.
