    The serial # indicates that is an early 1940 model, the grease zerts on the front spindles are probably facing forward, I think they put them on the back side in 1942.

    You're over thinking this, dry it out in your oven for a couple of hours and keep it in a sealed container made for welding rod, it will be just fine.

    Directions tell you to use resistor wires, plugs do not matter.

    You will meet a lot of new friends if you have one. I have had mine for over 30 years, I don't use it every day but It sure is handy to clean up small things up to the size of a tractor front wheel in the 16 inch size range. You will wonder how you got along without it and mine has cleaned up...

    Jpallist, I've been doing some checking and you are correct, can't come up with a bolt pattern that size. Call these guys at Ag Wheel Express and see if they have a solution 641-450-7090, maybe they have a center hub that will fit your tractor and you can use the 20.25 rim you found or buy one...

    As Timmycornpicker said try a 2000 LCG (low center gravity) tractor, they had 24 inch wheels on them, that would be the blue series , 60's thru 70's vintage.

    I would measure your bolt center straight across and compare it to the specks on a aftermarket rim. They list center to center as 20.25 inches that will tell you if it fits. It almost looks to me like the center hub that it is bolted to looks smaller in diameter.

    Got rid of another one

    It must be a California thing because they take cars here in the Midwest of any age. Some even advertise no title needed. I have scrapped a couple by cutting them in half, they are no longer considered a vehicle at that point, just scrap. You would be surprised how fast you can cut a unibody car...

    Check with a local electrician but here in Ill. we run 3 wires to the sub panel, black-red and white, you have to put two ground rods 10 feet apart and run a copper ground wire in series to the two ground rods (5 foot buried 5 foot in the ground) The sub panel is not grounded to the main panel...
