    Cub lo-boy won't idle down.

Cub lo-boy started and ran good. Mowed about an hour. At the start the engine would idle and throttle up. After mowing shut it off and started it and it shows no response to the throttle. Runs at the same speed it did when I was mowing. I had changed the carb so I thought maybe the rod to the...

    Hydraulic pump leaks.

My 1 G has a Vickers hydraulic pump that someone added to be able to have hydraulics on the tractor. Where the pump fluid inlet pipe goes into the pump it leaks. It's a 90 deg smooth pipe that goes into the inlet. No collar or anything. Not sure if it is factory or not. Had it to 2 hydraulic...

    Grandpa Love Carb?

Will the carb you mentioned in a previous post fit a 1955 lowboy? I can't find the serial number. The plate is there but there is no number on it. Was 1955 the first year of the lowboy?

Any way to disengage woods mower on Allis G?

I think I know the answer but is there any way to not have the mower deck running all the time the clutch is engaged? I can lock the clutch pedal on start up but then it is running as long as the clutch is engaged. Not a real safe feeling. I have not seen any other way. Also would any one have a...

    Allis G no start.

Brief history. This tractor hasn't run since the 90's. Put all new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points, condenser 12v coil as I am going to convert it. Just running off a 12v fully charged battery. All wiring new. Boiled and cleaned carb. I got it running and it ran really well. Power washed it and...

    Alternator cooling fan?

In a 12v conversion on a tractor will the alternator over heat if you don't use the exterior cooling fan? Being in the open I was just wondering. I have a project that may not have much room and the fan might be a problem. This post was edited by mdm1 on 12/30/2022 at 03:56 pm.

    G creeper gear?

I have a G that I am just learning about and have a question about the creeper gear. Some say they all had it and you had to do something to make it functional. Any way to tell if I have it and it works? Also is there any way to remove the fan besides a gorilla sized press and a ton of heat...

    Farmall cub lowboy steering problem

My Dad have a 1957+- cub lowboy. The steering is a bit sloppy in the gearbox and it seams to steer alittle hard. I lubed the busing right by the steering wheel and it seemed alittle better but still not like it should be. You can move the steering wheel before the wheels turn. It has been...

    Electronic cut out.

I need to rewire my WD-45 and want to get rid of the generator cut out and 3 way switch. I was going to use a voltage regulator and a push pull for the lights. Has anyone used a electronic cut out? Will using one eliminate the 3 way switch? Thanks for any thoughts.
