1 in the class

What"s the proper way to pull if you"re the only one in a class? Going 12" and stepping on the clutch just doesn"t seem right

I've always found that once you get hooked to the sled you pull as far as you can no matter how many are in the class. If you can't do that your not having fun anyway :)

If it were me I would either try a higher gear than normal or just give it H@LL in the gear I usually pull in! But that is me.

sounds like a little boys with no money or kahoonees to pull...it's OK, pull by yourself in your super pro stoc unlimited ultimate pro stock awesome outlaw super pro where there really is noone pulling!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

This is where you can experiment with weight location, air pressure, speed, gearing, and location on the track. Have funn cause somebody will come along and challenge you soon enough.

It has nothing to do with being scared, and I never pull by myself.

Then again it might be fun to pull Div. 5 you would'nt have to run your tractor very hard and when you get to the pull you could just get together with the other two guys there and decide whos going to pull what class then each of you could win twice. Then at the end of the year you all get to be a points champion and get a really nice jacket. Heck maybe Gottman Toys will even make a toy of your tractor.

I just looked at their website, 3-5 tractors "most classes" in said division. Now, you can find their schedule pretty easily, surely one of the pulls is "close" to you, so either go to one and show these guys how tough you are, or shut up! easy to talk it, not walk it--HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA---you won't go, guarenteed...........

You must not have looked the schedule very hard, you said "Most" classes had 3-5 tractors and that is just not the case, in fact out of 115 total classes only 40 had 3 or more tractors 25 had two and 50 had 1 or zero!!!

As far as me goes I will be happy to pull with them as soon as they get rid of the rpm limit.

Is what you'd hear if they removed the RPM limit and let you pull! If you want to pull unlimited RPM's go build a superstock that's built for that!

Whining on the internet about how a club that last time I checked, did have rules meetings where you can VOTE on the rules is dumb. So is having a brush tractor and complaining when you can't come and compete with the rules that have been in place for many years.

Well don't you just know it all,
First, I have never blown an engine apart we have somthing called safety equipment. You are all paranoid.

Second, I was not complaining about the rules I just said that you should ask Div 5 about pulling by themselves and you guys got your nnalert all in a bunch.

Third, FYI Div. 5, when it was created was supposed to be COATPA Div 5 rules and was changed at the last minite and none of the people who were planning on pulling in the class knew it or got to vote on it.

NATPA can do whatever it wants, us open guys have plenty of places to pull. It just seems silly to me that people are content to pull by themselves, when there a lots of tractors that would come with just a couple rules changes. But hey Whatever floats your boat.

I usually just hook and go till she breaks or stops....hehehe...kindof sucks and not real motivating to fix without a class. My tractor does not fit a class and I have had a fair amount of trouble with it this year. So, for me I quit going for now....dont really have the time anyhow.
