First - no "I told you so" or 1010 bashing.
Got my first major issue with the 1010 I bought last fall. Last night after cultivating using the JD S1-A cultivator set up, dual hydraulics working independently, I started to get a fairly good drip out of the bottom of the transmission case which was still dripping this morning. There is a cotter pin there in a weep hole. When I did fluid changes last fall I put Hy-Guard in the hydraulic system so I am positive it is not engine or transmission oil. No leaks outside the tractor or visible on the pump. Looking at the parts break out only thing I can think of is the seal , parts key 17, is on its way out? How hard is it to rebuild this pump? I have been into a M series pump before and this doesn't look too far off. Figure if I have it all apart I might as well do a full rebuild.
This was the first time I had seriously used the cultivators and the first time I had used the dual lift on this machine. No leaks or problems before and it worked fine and the 1010 plowed 2 acres with a 415 2 bottom plow this spring.
