Without 'em working, sure, so long as you got juice in the battery for whatever electrical you might need... if it's Diesel that won't be much. It'd probably run forever so long as you didn't need to shut it off. Gasoline, it'll run so long as you have juice in battery to throw a decent spark.
BUT if your answer is without 'em present, you'll need to build an idler for the belt, to keep tension on it. If I'm not mistaken same belt runs the water pump and fan. You'll really do yourself something painful (and even more painful for your tractor) if you don't have a turning water pump.

Yeah I was talking about with em but not working. I don't know a whole lot about them just wondering. I will probably put one on it in the future just can't now.

Well then the answer is yes. I have an old 9N that has never charged since I got it. Just charge battery at night. The generator is there, just acting like an idler for the water pump belt. See, the tractor don't care where it gets its electricity from, a battery or a generator. It just wants some, and ain't picky.
Short answer, if it was mine, I'd run it with a dead generator so long as the bearings are good in the generator. Won't hurt a thing. Have a spare hot battery nearby though...

Just go and get a generator and regulator. It's going to look and run like some farmer fixed redneck special without them.
What happens when you want lights? Sooner or later you will want to start it and the battery will be dead with not boosting or charging equipment around.
Battery life will be shortened without it being kept charged. A battery costs about the same as a generator.
If worse comes to worse. Get a $20.00 alternator from the salvage yard and tinker it on there.

you could just go with the one wire altenater easy to install cheaper than gen, and reg I can get them for around 45.00
