105 hydraulic pump

Looking to replace hydraulic pump.Are rebuilts reliable? Or should i just spend $ for new? Thanks for opinions.

Allied Precision I Think is where my rebuilt pump came from.My local dealer had them in stock. lots cheaper seems to work good, Dad put one on his 105 several years ago and worked good.

Depends on which pump you have. The cast iron pump can be rebuilt,the aluminum can't. If you switch from the cast to the aluminum,there is a kit that you have to buy from Agco that has different fittings and 2 different lines. That kit is better than $200.

Two different pumps. Early was Vickers PVB15, later changed gears and drove the PVE19 pump slower to get same 15gpm. Any good hydraulic rebuilder should be able to do these pumps. You should change the compensator valve at the same time.

PVB-19 Vickers may also have been used on some
WHITE's. Vickers is now part of Eaton. All parts
are available.
