110 axle shaft

Have a jd lawn and garden tractor that I believe is a model 110 but I am not sure ,no tag just the numbers 110 on hood . How do I identify this tractor ,as I need a axle shaft Ps are there any casting numbers that I can use to identiy the tractor

A picture would help a lot.

There should be a serial number tag on the console. It's an aluminum plate held on with two little pins. Most years it's in the center of the console facing the driver.

If it's the rear axle, all the gear drive tractors use the same from the 1965 model 110 through the 1987 model 216.

This is the part # M82934 both axles are the same. should be available from mother Deere. if not try Lundell tractors in Kiron Iowa . ph# 712-675-4341 great people to deal with. They should be cheaper than Mother Deere. Serial # plate should be at the base of the steering column.
