1130 hydraulic problem

A few years ago I bought an 1130 MF for $250 as is. The engine starts right up after a few minor fixes. The tractor moves just fine. Hydraulics work at first other than the multipower seat, and 3point. Some moron torched off the lift arms, links and the adjustment handle on the three point. Cylinders are still there. PTO has a growl but turns when activated.

about 30 seconds after startup steering becomes hard, remotes have flow but no pressure, brakes need to be pumped about three times to get them to work and once let go the process needs to be repeated, hydro seat don"t work(never did) multi power never worked either as far as I know.

I put in a brand new filter and replaced the bent line. I removed the sump screen and cleaned up the half tube of silicone someone used there. There were small pieces of metal at the bottom of the screen I assume are from the PTO.

If I move the hydro dump button down by my feet to bypass the oil I have no hydraulics until I push it back down then I have hydraulics for a few seconds again. If I pull out the relief valve by my feet then push it back in I have hydraulics for a few seconds.

I think the problem is up front with the main pump valves but i"m not sure. Never worked on a Massey with so many hydraulics so I don"t know where to begin.

I originally bought the tractor for the engine for my UNI since I was told the tractor didn"t work. But now if I can get hydraulics to work right I have a loader I want to put on. I don"t need PTO since I have 8 other tractors with PTO’s and three are about the same size as the Massey

I would be looking at the charge pump under the platform. It sounds as if you need to put a gauge on the system and read the pressures. The brakes, steering, multipower, and 3 point are all operating off that pump. It charges the radial pump attached to the front of the crank.

i got the charge pump and regulator valve out. also found out that the high low PTO is not connected inside. Didn't even know it had one since some parts are missing around the floor. Trying to fine the service book on the 1130 but so far can't remember where i put it. im wondering if the regulator valve would have anything to do with it
