How deep do i have to get to replace the outer final drive bearing. and aprox hrs. RENE'

Split the track,remove the sprocket from the shaft as it makes it lighter for handling,remove the oil pan from the bottom of the final as it is probably full metal,take the cap off that covers the end of the shaft,remove the retaining plate and adjusting shims,the shaft should now pull out,some can be easy and some can be hard,the bullgear and spacers will fall down when the shaft is out,they will need cleaning,a run of weld on the old bearing cone will shrink it so it will come out,be carefull not to touch the housing while welding,its a while since I done one and can"t remember how many hours it took.

You can look up where that drawing came from on the online parts site at the link below,first page opens,click on North American ENGLISH,second page opens,on the top bar click on parts and service,then on Search for parts,another page opens,there is a black square,top left above the square click on Launch parts catalog,a new page opens,type your machine model in the search box ie 1155E and click search,your machine will come up,click on it and all the sub sections will appear,click on the item you want,a drawing will appear in the right panel,in the top of the panel is an icon of a printer,click on it for a full size picture.
