1370 Valve Cover gasket question

I need to replace the valve cover gaskets on my 1370. I removed the hood and muffler and the breather tubes.

I thought I could pull the Air Breather Canister out the top of the Hood cowling and give myself enough room to access the valve covers.

But after i got everything removed and lose the breather tub (the tub is where the Air Filters set) will not come out the top.

Any suggestions or opinions on how i can replace the valve cover gaskets on a 1370.

You need to get a CASE service manual. It has pictures of the step by step process to get the canister out the top of the cowl.
