Never seen one, have an opportunity to buy one. Any thoughts, opinions? Seen one picture, not a good picture. Won't be able to see tractor for a week or so. Rare tractor?

Several 140 high crops here in West Michigan. Many high crops of all models in our area so not sure how rare they are in general. Very handy tractors.
Headed to Florida tomorrow and will go through Alabama on the way down so try to warm it up for us please.

Grandpa I am surprised that as many offset Farmalls from the A, Super A, 100, 130, 140, and a 274 that were used in tobacco fields of NC that I have never seen a high crop version of any of them here. I do not know how many were made, and I am sure someone here can answer that.

Here's my 140 High Clearance. Not a good side hill outfit. FAST!

I have never seen a high crop 140 anywhere close to home which is surprising as much cultivating that was done. Neighbor has a junked AV that he obtained from somewhere. High crops just weren't popular here. Guess they figured they could do more with less $ with a regular tractor ?

I know where there are several here in southwestern Ontario Canada. The same person has at least 2 on the last count and in working condition. A friend of mine near Sarnia. These are not the only IHC Oddities he has.
