15.5x38 tires

Does anyone out there pull with 15.5x38 tires on 16" rims? I have found a set of 16" rims for sale and I am wondering if the 16" ones would work better than the 14" ones. Thanks in advance for any and all help!

My dad was running my set of 15.5s on 16 inch rims on his tractor and it was pulling like the dickens. He was always right in there toward the top. We had to run the pressure up around 15 psi to keep the sidewalls from wrinkling.

yes and no. it runs much better than stock, but it is only a div II tractor... never had it dynoed..guessing 75-90 hp.

pulled last weekend... 4500 3mph 1st place, 4500 unlimited(had to try it, but got waxed by some nice olivers, but it did spin out in 3rd gear), 5500 5mph, very close 2nd in 2nd gear, 6500 5mph 1st place, 2nd gear. only a little local pull with about 10 tractors each class, but i was happy. it doesnt need to go to any natpa events, but it holds its own at the local stuff.
