I continue to pick away at this thing. Now I find that I have mismatched front wheels. One is what I'd call the more modern design, kind of like a car wheel with 3 or 4 open slots around the edge of the center part. The other is almost looks like a solid cast wheel, very flat in the bolt area. Which of these (hopefully at least one of them) would most likely be the original? I'l try to find a match for the correct one.

the sales literature shows slots im not sure mine has slots and the rim will be dished so you can turn them in our out mine are out that works good in mud

Ya,every one I've ever seen has the slotted. See if you can get your hands on the current issue of Hart Parr Oliver Collector magazine. The 1550 is the feature tractor. Lots of pictures, new pictures and archive pictures from original literature.

Thanks for the replies. I guess the slotted it the correct wheel. Any ideas what the "non-slotted" wheel might be for? When I replace it with the correct one I'd like to get it to someone who could use it rather than sending it to the scrap yard. My wife says I can't keep everything! She is still around though.

must fit someother tractor i cant think might be case google case and then images good luck and remember 1 mans junk is anthor mans treasure

I think some model of John Deere had a non slotted disk wheel, but I can't remember the model. Maybe an A.

I found a set of 15" rims off of a David Brown that had the right offset for an Oliver wf,just remember implement rims have lighter centers which is important if using a loader
