Would anyone have some pictures of a 3 point for this tractor or something simular. My tractor came with a loader only and was going to start building my 3 point but would like to see where everything would have been mounted from the factory.Lift will just be a couple of cylinders. Can't seem to find any tractors like this localy to look at.Thanks
Jake

Backup here a step or two. Does your tractor have the hydraulic unit for a 3 point, but no 3 point Is so it may be cheaper to buy one off a parts tractor Do you have the depth stop type hydraulic?

Sorry I don't know anything about oliver- cockshutt. What I have is a 1555 with hydro- drive and two levers coming off the top of the hydrualics that operate my loader. Was told this was a loader special ( no three point) Was going to run the 3 point buy disconnecting the bucket for winter and just a blade up front and blower at the back for winter.Do not know about the depth stop ?
Thanks for your help. Not finding any of these localy to look at or compare to.

You should consider getting some manuals for your tractor. They will help.

Thanks,I am waiting for manuals.A local fellow who was a mechanic years ago says he has all the manuals I can have ,he just hasn't dug them out yet.

Are you in the Dakota's or Minnesota?  Or perhaps you purchased it in that area.  This model was built purposely as a loader tractor less three point hitch and some other options and sold only in the Minneapolis Branch.  They were built that way and sold for reduced $.

I'm just north of the US border in Manitoba.Would have been easier if this thing had 3 point but the price was right and don't mind building another 3 point.

The regular 1555 manual would show the normal 3 pt. setup and there may be a bulletin or other info that the museum may be able to provide. Since he said he knows nothing about Olivers that would be a good place to start. Also there was a good feature story in the June/July Oliver Heritage magazine about the loader specials. It was very interesting to read - some dealers sold them by the dozens.

Yup,that was a great article. The first time I saw a loader special advertised,it said no hydraulics. I thought the guy was either nuts or meant no 3pt. Guess he knew what he was talking about. Who'd of ever thunk it,a loader special without a way to run a loader.
