1570 powershift

im building a 1570 puller with about 400-500hp. what do i need to do to get the ps to hold?

I don't know nothing about building a puller, but for the P Sh I'm sure you'll have to bump up trans pressure and tie the torque limiters down more.

they will hold that hp if they are in good shape. Ran my 1370 with that or a bit more and it held. I just put a 1/4" washer above the pin in the pressure relief for the tranny so the pressure was at the top of the green. I had enough power to pull in 3-3 with duals on without shifting down most times tho.

Use the torque limitors from a 2870,they are 14'' diameter.Set the power shift pressure to 210 psi or higher,or get enough HP to go in 4-1

how long are the stock shims in the torque limiter? I had a guy tell me to grind 100 thousandths off and had a guy tell me he did it, but im very questionable. would love to measure them. thanks
