16 rims

would 16" rims be too wide for 15.5 38 i know theyll fit but what about bite seems like they would be to wide to bite hard. theyre on 12" rims right now any info would be appreciated. thanks

depends on the brand of tire and the weight class. 14" is ideal for lighter classes, but 16" will work well in heavier classes if you have a wide set of tires

some clubs you pull at may have rules that prohibit rims wider than the tires other than that they'll fit.

16 in. is the way to go, i have been running 16s on 14.9x38 and i wouldnt go any smaller than a 14 in rim on a 15.5x38 unless you like to loose .i thought they would be to wide but ounce i got the right air pressure in them are real hard to beat
