I'm in the process of replacing the exhaust and intake manifold gaskets on my 1650. I have the manifold off and had it machined. I have a new set of gaskets and also the gasket that goes between the carb and the intake. My questions, is there a certain pound of torc I should tighten up the nuts on the manifold. Should I use a gasket sealer on the metal gaskets for the manifold and the gasket between the carb and the intake? ANy general tips or tricks to getting the manifold back on properly? Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

Thanks. I forgot another question I had. When I took the carb off there was 2 identical gaskets beween the carb and intake. Not sure why there would be 2. Is one enough?

Yes: Now I put a set of aftermarket gaskets on A superr 88 this fall (same gaskets) and after I ran it and it warmed up the torque on the bolts was half of what I torqued it to.
