1655 no reverse

I bought a 1655 today, won"t go in reverse. where do i start.

Phone the guy you got it from, He'll know.

wont go in reverse? what do you mean by that.Is the problem in both high and low range?
will it shift but no reverse traction or wont it shift at all with the stick. in the first case a broken or loose shifterfork ,in both cases you will have to take the cover of to see what the hangup is.

some of these tractors have a tendency to be stuborn shifters, espesially in low gears.

Shift the 3 speed to low and try it.

I now have R-1 AND F-2. After removeing gear shift plate,gears looks ok. It only shifts in two gears.
