1750 gas stopped running ( update)

After much to do and nashing of teeth I finally got the 1750 running. Turned out to be a needle sticking in the carb. I had to take it out and put in the old one as it would not move properly and would stick shut.
Tried all the suggestions you guys gave me and just wanted to let you know how I came out.
Thanks again!
