180 Gas

Hello I was wondering if anyone knows what engine a 180 gasser would have. Also, were they good engines?

do not know what engine you have

would like to know if your is a narrow front end.

have see one, however, it may have been a 175, it went by on a truck.

If yours is a narrow front end, be sure and post a picture on photos section.

Depending on the year. A 175/180 1965-68 would have the Continental G206. The ones after that would have the Perkins AG4.236. I have a 175 with a G206 and is a very good tractor. It has a few horsepower less (about 5)than the Perkins gas or diesel. The Perkins diesel would have more torque than both gas engines. Hope this helps.

Thanks for reply on MF narrow front.

At shows I see a 40 narrow front from time to time. Have neighbor that has a full set of cultivators for a 50 narrow front, but sold tractor so they are stored out by his barn.

I believe I did see a MF 175 once in narrow front, also saw a 5000 Ford in narrow front.

I am sure they are not as stable as wide fronts, but I think they look good and boy are they rare.
