What is the HP of a Allis 180 gas tractor? I"ve anywhere from 60 up to 90 advertised. What was stock from factory?
What they handle a round baler?
Thanks Matt

4 cyl gas had 60 hp, only about 100 of these built, vibration problems put your feet to sleep. 6 cyl gas had same 60 hp, but was better balanced. Diesel had 93 hp, in the XT model, in a 190 XT. Same motor was in the 180, just turned down to 60 HP. A clever mechanic can turn up the screw on the pump to get more HP. That is the reason for the HP confusion.

The 180 and 190 XT did not use the same engine. The XT Diesel was turbocharged, the 180 was not.

In the gas models, the G2500 engine in the 180 was rated at 65 PTO HP.

The G2500 in the 190 (NON-XT) was rated at 75 PTO HP. This difference may have been due to carburetion and/or rated speed differences.

The 190 gas had the 265 with a larger carb and 200 more RPM rated speed. I had a 180 gas but it had the bigger carb on it, apparently from the factory. The 190 XT gas had the 301 engine.
