190 Hydraulic oil leak

I have a 190xt that is leaking around the spline shaft at the top of the lift arm. I thought this area didn't have any pressure on it. I have seen some references on here about a cheap fix involving a tube to even out the reserves on the hydraulics? anybody think they can help me out on a cause or a solution to this problem I would appreciate it. thanks

There are some O-rings and bushings inside the lift arm housing that have probably worn. Our 190 has the same problem, only on ours the o rings have worn a groove in the lift arm shaft, so even though I replaced them it still leaks oil. Thought of taking it to a machine shop, having it welded up and turned.
