190 shift lever pivot

Help! The shift lever has popped off of the pivot pin. As near as I can tell this part has been discontinued. What are my options?
 
If it is the pin just below the shift lever, a neighbor of mine used a bolt with 2 nuts jamming it.[but nuts jam each other so the lever moved freely]. Did it 4 years ago still working
