I'm having trouble with the engine. Everytime you run the tractor for about an hour, when the engine is good and warm it likes to quit on me. We recently overhauled the engine. Everytime you start it up its smokes like crazy, and continue's to smoke alot even after running for awhile. I think the timeing is off on the fuel injectors which causes it to stop running. But it will start right as if nothing happened. Anyone have an idea?

Its a long shot on the quitting, but my brother had a used skid loader on trial and it would start shutting down, usually after noon. Turned out that the fuel was low enough in the afternoon that it would pull a stick that was in the tank to the fuel line and plug it off. As soon as it shut down, stick floats away and it runs until the stick gets sucked into the line again. May not be your problem but thought I would say it anyway...you never know. Den

The fuel tank doesn't have a stick and the Tank is loaded with 45 gallons of diesel which pretty much fills it. And the Sediment Bowls are clean.

Sounds like timing and return line pluggedpartially plugged ;these things have to be timed really close to run good ;Does it run good whan you first start it cold?

When you overhauled the engine did you also do the pump and injectors. If I remember right there is a check valve in the pump that will cause the engine to shutdown.This check valve will plug when a plastic ring, which is internal to the pump, starts breaking down.

She runs Great when starting cold. But there alot of smoke coming out of the muffler. Other wise she'll quit on me whe bailing hay after running at 1700rpm after an hour. But will start right back up and go for another hour.

have a 180 that had similar symtoms. the fuel hand primer pump was the problem. don"t know if 190 has the same but i thought i"d put my two cents in.
